Website Creation and Computer Knowledge

Several years of experience with website creation and development. Experienced with Dreamweaver and HTML and CSS code, as well as all details of making websites live. Becoming very comfortable with the Drupal content management system (CMS), one of the most powerful and flexible open source CMS's out there. Experience with home server setup on Linux and BSD. Field Biology and Consulting

Ten years of experience as a field biologist. Worked with birds and plants, especially the Cactus Ferruginous Pygmy-owl. Companies include University of Arizona, SWCA Biological Consultants, National Park Service: Inventory and Monitoring Program, Center for Biological Diversity, Sky Island Alliance, Maricopa Audubon Society, among others. Consulting example.

Extensive knowledge of Southwest ecosystems and geography especially Arizona and Sonora, Mexico. Specialize in birds and woody plants with some knowledge of reptiles and mammals.

Outdoor Skills

Skilled river rafter, backpacker, and general outdoor guide. Extensive backcountry and wilderness experience, including being responsible for others. Knowledge of basic survival skills. Capable with GPS, maps and compass and overland navigating.

Home Remodeling

Extensive experience with all aspects of fixing, remodeling and building housing and related infrastructure. Specifically: plumbing, roofing, electrical, woodworking/carpentry, masonry/tile, painting, and finish work.

Landscaping and Native Vegetation

Experienced landscaper and gardener. Familiar with most native trees and shrubs of AZ and Sonora and have also helped install water harvesting and permaculture projects.

Organizer

Experience organizing events and shows. Have organized dozens of successful events of various kinds including music shows, fundraising events, and protests.

Property Management

A decade of experience as a property manager, both with personally owned property as well as with client's property.

Vehicle Repair

Good understanding and experience repairing and maintaining vehicles... both bicycles and automobiles.

Beer Brewing

Experienced beer brewer having made many hundreds of gallons of dozens of styles of ale. I have also built brewing equipment.
